Surveying

Condor is nationally known for its real-time field land survey and mapping technology. Our field instrumentation includes the latest in GPS technology, reflectorless laser ranging equipment, total stations, and other analog and digital field data collection instruments. We feature state-of-the-art Trimble 5700 RTK/GPS systems, providing instantaneous (real-time) coordinates to a distance of six miles.
Condor's land surveying division specializes in providing GPS control and GPS topographic surveys. Projects are referenced to national horizontal and vertical datums for simple integration to Geographic Information Systems (GIS). "Unlimited distance" control and corridor surveys are easily accomplished by using GPS "Static" and "Rapid Static" techniques. Land surveying control can be established on construction sites and can be effortlessly restored. Upwards of 900 topographic points (at centimeter level) can be collected per day by a single Real-time Kinematic (RTK) operator, with the average shot taking approximately five seconds to collect.
